KAPIT provides all customers with the right to permanently delete their account and associated personal data. Below is how account deletion works, what data is permanently wiped, and how to execute or request deletion.
What happens when you delete your account?
Permanently Deleted: Your profile credentials, name, email, phone number, login passwords, OAuth linkages, saved delivery addresses, wishlist records, and active shopping cart are permanently deleted from our live servers.
Legal & Tax Retention: In accordance with Indian commercial, tax, and GST statutory regulations, past completed financial orders and invoices are anonymized and retained for mandatory audit periods (up to 7 years) before being securely shredded.
Irreversible Action: Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. Any unredeemed coupons or store promotional credits will be permanently forfeited.
