Kapit operates an express hyperlocal fulfillment network anchored from our Central Fulfillment Hub in Koraput, Odisha (PIN Code: 764020).

We currently fulfill orders to verified addresses and landmarks within our delivery radius in Koraput municipality and surrounding feeder localities. When you enter your PIN code or use location detection on our app, the system instantly confirms if express delivery is active for your street.

3Shipping & Delivery Charges

We maintain transparent, honest pricing with zero hidden delivery markups:

• Free Delivery: All orders with a cart subtotal of ₹250 or higher receive 100% FREE delivery.
• Standard Delivery Fee: For orders below ₹250, a modest delivery fee of ₹15 and a handling fee of ₹5 are applied.
• These fees are clearly displayed in your Bill Details before you swipe to confirm the order.

4Order Handover & Verification

To ensure your groceries arrive in peak condition:

• Our delivery partner will arrive at your address, ring your doorbell or call your registered phone number.
• Doorstep Inspection: We actively encourage customers to inspect fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, and milk at the moment of delivery.
• If any item appears damaged or unsatisfactory during handover, you may decline that specific item immediately with the rider for an instant adjustment.

5Unreachable Customer Protocol

If our delivery partner reaches your destination and cannot contact you:

1. The rider will make at least 3 attempts to call your registered mobile number over a 10-minute waiting window.
2. If you remain unreachable, the rider may return the order to our local fulfillment hub to prevent spoilage of chilled or fresh perishable items.

6Weather & Force Majeure Delays

The safety of our delivery fleet is paramount. During monsoon storms, severe flooding, road accidents, or regional bandhs/curfews in Koraput, delivery times may be extended. We will proactively notify you via SMS or phone call if your order is delayed due to weather or safety constraints.
